A Teen Instagram Star Is Quitting Social Media And Revealing The Truth Behind Her "Perfect Photos"

This is Essena O'Neill, an 18-year-old from the Sunshine Coast of Australia.
Over the past several years, O'Neill has built a social media empire. She explained that when she was in high school, she started posting on a blog, YouTube, and social media, and soon became consumed by it.
"I fell in love with this idea that I could be of value to other people," she wrote. "Let's call this my snowballing addiction to be liked by others."
She soon became an online sensation. She said she now has more than half a million followers on Instagram and more than 250,000 YouTube subscribers alone.
As she became a bigger online celebrity, she began to get more and more sponsorship opportunities. Eventually, she was able to support herself through sponsorships and was getting offers to model in L.A., she wrote.

People Are Using #ForceForDaniel To Make A Man's Dying Wish To See "Star Wars" Come True
Daniel Fleetwood is a lifelong fan of Star Wars, and he wants to see the movie before he passes away.
This is Daniel Fleetwood of Spring, Texas. The 32-year-old is fighting a rare form of cancer called spindle cell sarcoma.

With little time left, it is Fleetwood's dying wish to see the next installment of the Star Wars franchise — Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which hits theaters on Dec. 18.
Fleetwood has been a fan of the Star Wars films since he was 8 years old, his wife Ashley told BuzzFeed. He became hooked on the franchise after his dad introduced the original trilogy to him.
"He fell in love with them instantly, that's what he always told me," Ashley Fleetwood, 29, said. "And he camped out for the next three — Episodes I, II, and III."
