Here's An Easy Way To Make Jambalaya
A delicious and easy version of a Louisiana classic to spice up your weeknight dinner routine!
Easy One-Pot Jambalaya
Here's the full recipe video:
Serving Size: Four Servings
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 pound andouille sausage
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 jalapeno pepper
- 1 white onion
- 1 red pepper
- 1 yellow pepper
- 1 green pepper
- 2 ribs celery
- 3 cups chicken stock
- 14oz crushed tomatoes
- 1 1/2 cups of rice
- 2 Tbsp. cajun seasoning
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 pound of shrimp
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium high heat. Dice chicken breasts and andouille sausage. Cook thoroughly. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add crushed garlic and a diced jalapeño pepper (leave the jalapeño seeds in for extra spice).
Stir in diced onion, peppers, celery until they're soft. Add chicken stock, tomatoes, rice, cajun seasoning, bay leaf, dried thyme, cayenne pepper and stir. Simmer stew for 30 minutes. Stir occasionally to make sure the rice doesn't burn at the bottom of the pan.
Once the rice is cooked, add in shrimp, season with salt and pepper, then continue simmering until the shrimp are cooked through. Enjoy!

This Is An Easy Way To Spice Up Regular Fries That Will Rock Your World
A winning British classic. Dip your fries in this spicy curry sauce or slather it on top.

For the chicken:
- 1 chicken breast, sliced into strips
- 1 tsp of curry powder
- 1 Tbsp. of oil
- 1/4 tsp of pepper
- 1/4 tsp of salt
For the curry:
- 2 Tbsp. of oil
- 1 cup of diced onion
- 1 Tbsp. of grated ginger
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 1 cup of diced tomato
- 1 tbsp. of curry powder
- 1/4 tsp of cayenne pepper
- 1 cup of chicken stock
- 1/2 cup of chicken stock cornstarch slurry (1/2 cup of chicken stock + 1 Tbsp. of cornstarch)
- 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt
- French fries
- Cilantro for garnish
Add the curry powder, oil, pepper, and salt to the prepared chicken. Rub in the dry ingredients and make sure the chicken is evenly coated.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and coat until partially done. Remove from skillet and place in a clean bowl. Add onions, ginger, and garlic. Cook until the onions are translucent. Add the diced tomato, curry powder, cayenne pepper, and chicken stock. Return the partially cooked chicken. Stir and cook until chicken is done. Stir in the chicken stock cornstarch slurry. Cook until the curry has thickened. Turn off the heat and stir in the Greek yogurt.
Prepare french fries, whether from scratch or frozen.
Pour chicken curry over french fries, garnish with cilantro (optional). Enjoy!

A Reporter Gave A Sick Burn To A Heckler Who Interrupted His Broadcast With Vulgarity
He can dish it out as good as he can take it.
Reporter Joe Galli of CBS Local 2 in Palm Springs, California, apparently doesn't mess around when it comes to hecklers.
Galli was reporting on the holiday shopping season from Westfield Mall in Palm Desert when a heckler could be heard screaming "fuck her right in the pussy" off camera.
You can hear it just around the 33 second mark.
Without missing a beat Galli responded with, "That's exactly what I did to your mother buddy! Real classy, real classy, why don't we just go to the story."

The One-Pan Dish Using Quinoa You Need To Make For Dinner ASAP

Ingredients:
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 chicken breasts
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 jalapeño
- 1 cup quinoa
- 1 cup vegetable broth
- 1 (15oz) can of black beans
- 1 (15oz) can fire-roasted diced tomatoes
- 1 cup corn
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1 avocado
- juice of 1 lime
- 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro leaves
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Dice chicken breasts and cook thoroughly. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add crushed garlic and a diced jalapeño pepper (leave the jalapeño seeds in for extra spice).
Stir in quinoa, vegetable broth, beans, tomatoes, corn, chili powder and cumin; season with salt and pepper to taste. Cover and simmer until quinoa is cooked through, roughly 30 minutes. Stir in avocado, cilantro, and lime juice. Garnish with extra cilantro and enjoy!

People Are Furious Over This Company's Caitlyn Jenner Christmas Billboard
A billboard featuring a photoshopped image of Caitlyn Jenner from her Vanity Fair cover has angered New Zealand's transgender community.
The billboard reads "I hope your sack is fuller than mine this Christmas. Merry Christmas from Cranium."
The move prompted mixed reactions on Facebook, with one woman even posting an alleged email exchange she had with the owner where he accused her of having a "sick mind."
Following the backlash, the sign was quickly covered and replaced with another image, reading "censored" in large block letters.
The company behind the billboard, Cranium Signage, was quick to apologise on their Facebook, removing the post featuring the billboard and writing to the New Zealand public to say sorry.
BuzzFeed News has contacted Cranium Signage for comment.
