A Lot Of People Are Naming Their Babies After “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” Characters
Sadly, no one is naming their baby Chewbacca.
Among boy's names "Han" has seen a modest boost, up from being ranked #4,452 in 2015 to #3,392 this year.
Disney
"Leia" has long been a fairly popular girl's name, but in the early going of 2016 it zipped all the way up to #212 from #361 in 2015.
Disney
Even that patricide committing baddie "Kylo" has seen a shocking boost — from #3,774 in 2015 to #1,165 this year.
That's a 67% increase in people who like to name their babies after lunatics.

We Pretended To Support Trump On Facebook And No One Believed Us
We tried to burn our Facebook profiles to the ground.
Elections are a glorious time of year when you start seeing dank political memes and opinions all over your Facebook feed, and perhaps never more so than when it comes to... Donald Trump.
Facebook can seem like an echo chamber in which your self-selected audience agrees with you. So we created an experiment. Three people who aren't actual Trump fans would try to create genuinely convincing (and not jokey!) pro-Trump Facebook statuses and see how people reacted.
Joanna: It was really challenging to come up with a pro-Trump status that didn't sound like a joke. I was nervous. I felt a little physically sick. It was like going public saying I love punching myself in the face. I didn't think many people would believe me. But I knew some might. I pretty much never discuss politics on Facebook because I like to avoid awkward arguments.
Sarah: At first, I was like, "Hell yeah I got this!" And then I sat down and realized this would not be simple. I have a lot of friends in the comedy community (#humblebrag), and I realized doing something so unfunny could get me shunned. But then again, I love debate and argumentation, and I like to think I would have made a good lawyer. So I came up with a roundabout way of saying that maybe I support Trump. I didn't want to be called out as a troll.
Matt: Initially, I had zero desire to participate in this little experiment. I'm liberal, but I've spent my 28 years on this earth carefully avoiding political conversations, since most "conversations" consist of two groups not listening to each other and seeing who can shout louder. However, I also enjoy throwing gasoline on a fire to see how high the flame can go. I never express any opinions on Facebook — political or otherwise — and my only statuses regard losing or breaking my phone. So I took it as a challenge to see if I make a believable pro-Trump status, but I definitely had a knot in my stomach.

Here's Who Math Says Is The Main Character In "Game Of Thrones"
The god of tits and wine, and now the Iron Throne.
Winter and Season 6 of Game of Thrones are coming, which is why two mathematicians decided to calculate once and for all who the most important character in the realm really is.
HBO
Using network science, they mapped out all of the relationships to find and explain patterns within the story. And what they discovered was one character kept popping up...
Tyrion Lannister.

The mathematicians used A Storm Of Swords (book three, in the series), and ranked the characters by their connections to other people in the book to deem their importance.
The more connections, friend or foe, the more importance.

Sexy “Work” things.
We all know Rihanna's song "Work," because work work work work work work...
But what you probably don't know is how magnificent the song sounds when being read by Chris Hemsworth.
It was part of a bit for BBC Radio, but hot DAMN if you listen to this and don't want him to record this for some kind of erotic audio book.
Can I get Chris Hemsworth saying "Dirt" over and over again as a ring tone?
Thanks, Chris, and please just read more things in that voice going forward.

A Playstation Employee Customized A Controller For A Gamer With Cerebral Palsy
“It killed me to hear how something you used to thoroughly enjoy was being ruined because of our controller design,” the employee wrote to Peter Byrne.
New Jersey man Peter Byrne on Tuesday posted a story on Facebook about an unexpectedly positive customer service experience he had with a Playstation employee, who made him a special controller to accommodate his hands.
Facebook / Via facebook.com
Byrne, a 21-year-old from South Amboy, has been a Playstation gamer since he was 8. While he had no problem using previous models, he told BuzzFeed News that the fourth edition of the gaming console caused him some issues.
"I sent an email to Playstation's customer service two weeks ago, mentioning that I have cerebral palsy and that the controller is very sensitive to my left hand," Byrne told BuzzFeed News.
"My hand constantly hits the touchpad, which either pauses my game or interrupts whatever I'm doing," he added.
Byrne was surprised to receive the email address of a Playstation retail marketer named Alex Nawabi, who would look further into the issue.
"Alex got back to me the next day and told me he was going to work on a solution to my controller problem," Byrne said. "He was going to take my matter personally, not on behalf of Playstation."
Over a series of emails between the two, Byrne learned that Nawabi had ordered special parts to construct a new controller for him, but did not offer any promise of a solution.
On March 24, Nawabi sent Byrne an email saying that he could not modify the game piece, but said that he would send him a Playstation goodie box for his troubles.
"I appreciated that he even tried," Byrne said.
But when he opened his package on March 29, he was shocked to see a customized controller inside, along with a personal note from Nawabi explaining the changes he made.

This Dog Works At A Dentistry Clinic To Help Kids Keep Calm
Now you have no reason to be afraid of the dentist.
This is Lynne Ryan, a Chicago dental assistant, and JoJo, a 6-year-old golden retriever who serves as a comfort dog.
Lynne Ryan
In her time as a comfort dog, she's also been sent to assist after tornados in Missouri and Illinois, and was brought in to the Sandy Hook schools in Connecticut after the 2012 mass shooting.
As a comfort dog, she's trained to provide support and affection to people in times of distress, and even wears a special vest encouraging people to pet her.
"She's a very loving and sweet dog," Ryan told BuzzFeed News. "I sometimes call her the 'Queen of the Lean' because she'll just come up to someone and if she likes them she'll just lean on them, as if to say, 'Here I am. You can pet me now.'"
A year ago, Ryan had the idea of bringing JoJo into the clinic where she's worked for more than 21 years, Pediatric Dentistry of Northbrook, to help calm nervous kids.

Now, once a month, JoJo comes in and sits with patients who request her. "In the past three months she's become a big hit," dental assistant Veronica Renteria told BuzzFeed News. "We now have people who call up and specifically request JoJo."
