Claire Randall, a Vin Blanc French White Wine Blend composed of Viognier and Pinot Gris, is described by the winemakers as "incredibly balanced, feminine and elegant, yet shows plenty of substance and power" — just like Claire Randall herself.
They recommend pairing Claire Randall with scallops or other fresh seafood.

Claire Fraser, a 2015 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir, is a robust red with "ripe black cherry and black raspberry flavors, with hints of cola and underbrush."
She pairs best with duck, quail, or pork.

Early in the treatment, Hayley lost her hair, but not her striking lashes. However, these too have now been affected.
Brown told Kidspot that, for Hayley, they were a point of envy.
“Right through people, including her older sister, always said how jealous they were of her beautiful big eyelashes," he said.

This Is How Countries Around The World Cast Their Ballots
As Election Day grows closer in the US, we looked into how some of the other countries around the world vote, and, well, just be thankful, Americans, that you aren’t required to vote with marbles.
Argentina
In Argentina, you pick a ballot paper based on the candidates you like (see above), then fold it and put it in the envelope provided to you. Then you drop it in a designated box. People can put ~anything~ in the envelope if they want to make their vote null. Some people have even put in slices of ham as a form of protest. Because the ballots are paper, members of political parties can come into the room and switch all the ballots from one party to faulty ones and therefore null out a ton of votes.

Brazil
Brazil uses electronic machines, which means the results are usually announced four or five hours after the voting ends. Once you vote, you can annul your vote by pressing numbers that are not registered or abstain by clicking a white button.

Canada
In Canada you mark an X in a circle, fold the ballot up, and drop it into the ballot box. Once voting ends, the ballots are counted by hand in the attendance of the representatives of each candidate.

Anti-Sheriff Joe Arpaio Group Creates Whack-A-Trump Video Game
Bop the Bigot video game
The election may almost be over, but not before you can hit Donald Trump, Joe Arpaio, and David Duke with a chancla (sandal) as was promised.
Bazta Arpaio, a group of Arizona activists trying to finally defeat controversial Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio and tie him to Trump, contacted game developer Kojo Kumah and illustrator Matthew Moss of Touch Touch Studio to create Bop the Bigot, an online game where the three men get thwacked.
It is a meme that Latino kids are familiar with the threat of an airborne sandal (chancla) from their exasperated mother or abuela.
"The chancla takes everybody back to when you weren’t acting right so your grandma would take care of you," said the respected community activist Carlos Garcia who leads the Bazta Arpaio efforts. "It’s something connected to our childhood, but it’s something that comes out when things are serious, everyone knows what the flying chancla is."
Duke, a former grandmaster of the Ku Klux Klan and Arpaio, who was found to be racially profiling Latinos by a judge that ordered him to stop (he didn't, which again sent him to court), supported Trump early. Trump has been criticized for his support from white nationalists, who he has disavowed, albeit in a waffling way. Arpaio — whose immigration views have been echoed by the Republican nominee — was given a plum speaking engagement at the GOP convention.
"We hope this gives people a fun outlet for the frustration and anger these candidates' racism causes and that it motivates them to get out to the polls on election day," Bazta Arpaio spokesman B. Loewe said.
Bazta Arpaio, a play on Stop Arpaio in Spanish, is one of the efforts driven by young Latinos and immigrants to take on the specter of both Trump and the hardline sheriff winning in Arizona. They have 100 people knocking on doors, phone banking, and planning rallies and events in Maricopa County ahead of election day.

Paranormal Action Squad Is YouTube's First Original Animated Series
YouTube
YouTube has announced its first original animated show, "Paranormal Action Squad," for YouTube Red, its premium subscription service. The show will premier globally on November 16.
The eight-episode animated series follows the exploits of two hapless "paranormal enthusiasts," Paul and Eddie, who investigate hauntings and other ghostly events with the help of their enthusiastic and idiotic neighbor Vanoss. "Paranormal Action Squad" features the voices of three YouTube gaming stars — Mr_Sark, Vanoss, and SeaNanners — who have a combined reach of about 25 million subscribers on the video platform. It's overseen by Michael Rowe, who’s written for “Futurama” and “Family Guy."
In a promo video, Mr_Sark, one of the creators of "Paranormal Action Squad," described the show's humor as "off-color" and said that it will include "high-octane ass-kicking". The cartoon, reminiscent of the shows commonly associated with Cartoon Network's Adult Swim, is aimed at adults. YouTube's marketing materials tout the show as "DIY heroes for WTF world." Cartoon Network did not respond to requests for comment.
A YouTube Red spokesperson acknowledged that the comedy of Paranormal Action Squad is similar to Adult Swim but stressed that the development of the show was quite different.
"The show isn't going after a cable or broadcast audience," the spokesperson said, "because that audience already lives on YouTube and likes this content and these creators. Everything we do on Originals is based on popularity of genres already there."
You can see a sneak peak from the show below on Mr_Sark's channel:

Blondes may have more fun, but redheads have more sex.
Red hair is a mutation.
Basically, red hair is caused by a series of mutations in your MC1R gene. It's a recessive trait, so both parents need to carry the trait for it to be inherited.

And redheads are more likely to be left-handed.
Recessive genes apparently often appear in pairs.

Do You Think Comedy Can Go Too Far? • Is This Okay?
“They write jokes to get people to react.”
Hey, hey, hey, we’re back with another episode of Is This Okay? On this episode, we talked about when comedy becomes offensive AF and if that's even a thing.
BuzzFeedVideo / Via youtube.com
There's no doubt that a large part of comedy is trying to get a reaction from its audience.
BuzzFeed Video
For example, in Amy Poehler’s Difficult People, the main character makes a joke about looking forward to R. Kelly peeing on Blue Ivy when she's older.

Some thought that if a joke crosses a line, it can be redeemed if the comedian acknowledges that the joke has become too offensive.

People Are Calling Out Urban Outfitters For Selling $16 Bamboo Earrings
“You can go to a hair shop and get them for $2 at the most.”
Renée Jackson, a 24-year-old who lives in Brooklyn, told BuzzFeed News she "literally laughed out loud" when she spotted the item in a store. Baffled, she wrote a post wondering why a prominent fashion fixture in the black community was being rebranded and revalued.
The post has been shared more than 16,000 times. Her caption reads:
"The same earrings that people find ratchet or ghetto on black women are now $16.00 and sold at hipsters R us. These are literally a dollar at the nearest black hair store. My culture says you're welcome."
Jackson said she was compelled to share it online "because it was that ridiculous."
"I looked at the price and was like, 'No way... Not these'," she said. "I've worn them, my friends have worn them, since middle school. You can get these for a dollar at any hair store."
She also explained that you can get the earrings personalized with your name for no more than $5 — still making them cheaper than Urban Outfitters.
