After being pranked by Australian DJs, she may have committed suicide.
The DJs were hoping to talk to Kate Middleton, who was being treated at King Edward VII Hospital (above) at the time for extreme morning sickness. She has since been released. The nurse took the call and put it through to a second nurse, who gave the DJs some information about Kate.

At 9:30 a.m., she was found unconscious and could not be revived. The Daily Mail says suicide is suspected, though authorities are calling her death "unexplained."

In an apology issued before the news of the nurse's death broke, the DJs said, "We were very surprised that our call was put through, we thought we’d be hung up on as soon as they heard our terrible accents. We’re very sorry if we’ve caused any issues, and we’re glad to hear that Kate is doing well."
A spokesperson for Edward VII Hospital said, "We can confirm that Jacintha was recently the victim of a hoax call to the hospital. The hospital had been supporting her throughout this difficult time." The chairman of the hospital, Lord Glenarthur, added, "Jacintha was a first class nurse who cared diligently for hundreds of patients during her time with us. She will be greatly missed."

Starring Bo, the administration's vessel of holiday glee .
From The White House Blog:
The card was designed by Larassa Kabel, a professional artist from Des Moines, Iowa. Ms. Kabel has been creating photorealistic prints, paintings and drawings for the past 8 years and was featured as a solo artist in the Des Moines Art Center's Iowa Artist Show in 2009, the Iowa Artist 2010 group show and many other solo and group shows in Iowa, Michigan, Texas, Florida and New York. Her work is in several private and corporate collections including Aviva, Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, and the World Food Prize headquarters. She also has a much-loved dog at home, which is why she chose to feature Bo in this year’s White House Holiday card.

Conan O'Brien is still obsessed with Brad Pitt's infamous Chanel ad. From Conan , here's a mash-up with the World War Z trailer.
The mash-up was put together by Conan video guru Scott Chernoff, who definitely improved on both ads. These probably should have been combined from the get-go.

Eight years before “Gangnam Style,” Psy helped cover a song called “Dear American” at an anti-U.S. protest, multiple reports indicate.
Image by Matt Sayles/Invision / AP
The lyrics and English translation — which we're told by a Korean speaker is correct — were posted as a CNN iReport two months ago and picked up recently by Twitchy and Mediaite. His appearance at the concert is apparently well documented in Korean media.
The song was originally done by the band N.EX.T:
It's still not clear if Psy actually helped cover the song. But he does have a history of appearing at protest concerts. The Korea Daily blog has photos of Psy from some of these shows in the early 2000s:
An Australian brand is offering “drinkers’ wives and girlfriends a night off from ironing.”
Somebody please confirm for me that we are living in the year 2012?
Carlton (who produced the best beer commercial of 2012) recently sent out a "Laundry Nights" email promotion (see flier below) stating:
“Give the wife, girlfriend or partner a rest tomorrow night, because the Carlton Draught girls will be in to do your laundry (well your ironing anyway).”
Carlton had the "girls" set up an ironing board (see above) in the Imperial Hotel pub in Sydney last night.
It would've been slightly less awful if Carlton Draught "boys" had done the ironing.
This isn't a limited promo. The Carlton stunt is due to take place widely over the whole country, over the next six weeks.
Carlton’s creative agency, Clemenger BBDO Melbourne, said it was not involved in the stunt, according to Mumbrella.

Josh Brent.

Dallas Cowboys nose tackle Josh Brent was arrested today on charges of intoxication manslaughter after driving when a one-car accident occurred early this morning in Irving, Texas. The accident killed his teammate Jerry Brown, a linebacker on the Cowboys practice squad. Both Matt Barrie of NBC 5 in Dallas and Ian Rapoport of NFL.com have confirmed the story.

This is not Brent's first brush with the law over drunk driving. In 2009 Brent served jail time after getting a DUI while he was a student at the University of Illinois. Brown also attended Illinois where he was a college teammate of Brent's.
