Quarterback Feeds Giraffe
San Diego Zoo hosts San Diego football players.

An excellent tip arrived in the inbox yesterday featuring this sentence: "San Diego Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers scored points with giraffes at the San Diego Zoo earlier today as the quarterback fed the animals their favorite food: tasty biscuits." You can see Mr. Rivers and the tasty biscuits above. The giraffes pictured are Nicky (a 15-year-old female, the lower giraffe) and Silver, a 20-year-old male (the upper giraffe). There are five other Masai giraffes in San Diego besides these two, including a month-old baby.
What exactly makes these tasty biscuits so tasty? A zoo spokesperson says they're made of soy beans, sugar beet pulp and alfalfa meal with nutrients added.

This Is What China's Astronauts Will Eat In Space
People on Weibo are obsessed with what food China will bring on their space missions. Compare these with photos of Korean, Russian, and Japanese space food.
On Tuesday night, China launched Shenzhou X ("Arc Number 10") into space. According to the Financial Times, Beijing plans to build a space station by next year, and send crew to the moon by 2020.
Mostly, folks on Weibo are obsessed with what Chinese food they serve in space, especially since the launch coincides with Dragon Boat Festival, which is usually celebrated with a feast.
The Chinese crew was happy to oblige by showing their menus. Here's what they're having:

The Dragon Boat Festival commemorates the suicide and drowning of poet Qu Yuan. You're supposed to toss dumplings into the river to stop fish from nibbling on his corpse, which is hella metal. This is what the astronauts will be eating (or feeding to cosmic fish) to mark the holiday.

According to Reuters, Snowden had a profile on a now defunct website called Ryuhana Press:
But the website of Ryuhana Press, a now defunct start-up that had sold anime art, offers a glimpse of Snowden as a youth. As its web editor, Snowden's profile page is a mix of truth, sarcasm and silly jokes.
For example, he listed his correct birthday - June 21, 1983 - and noted that it falls on the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year. But he also claimed to be 37 years old and to have fathered two preteen children.
Using Way Back Machine Twitter user @nelikli was able to find a profile matching Reuters' description.
