I have finally seen the light.

Background: I am a 26-year-old gay man. I live in New York City and work at this website called BuzzFeed. I wasn't a very religious person until something that can only be described as a "divine gay intervention" happened. I am now in the know and am blessed.

This is my journey. This is my story. I write this in hopes of inspiring other One Direction fans to come out of the closet.

I may never hear the same way again.

Let me tell you a story about One Direction's album release party.

To celebrate the upcoming release of the British-Irish pop band's third album, Midnight Memories (Monday, Nov. 25), iHeartRadio and Ryan Seacrest hosted a party for the band, and a close gaggle of their fans, in Los Angeles on a Friday afternoon. It was a small theater with a line out the door, and I was there for the whole thing.

Let's just say that we were all so close to Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles,and Louis Tomlinson that we got pretty intimate that day.

It's important to note that some of the fans had been waiting in line all night, and probably hadn't slept — as Seacrest joked — because of their pure excitement. Those were the people who were let into the theater first at 2 p.m., and who crowded in front of the stage. All of their parents (because yes, these are mostly minors who need a legal guardian with them) were asked to kindly step to the back of the room so that the real fans could get as close to the stage as possible. In total, there were probably around 150 of us, which means that everyone was huddled tightly around One Direction.

There were also some local celebs in attendance with their daughters, like Kim Richards of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and Cindy Crawford.

The global simulcast of “The Day of the Doctor” aired in over 90 countries on six continents.

Before his first panel appearance at the Doctor Who Official 50th Celebration at the ExCel centre in London, executive producer and head writer Steven Moffat was presented with the Guinness World Record for the largest ever simulcast of a TV drama.

The 50th anniversary special "The Day of the Doctor" was shown in 94 countries on six continents. Upon receiving the award, Moffat noted that for years the Doctor had been trying to stop others from conquering the globe, but "now, just to show off, he's gone and done it himself!"

"Who else but the time-twisting Doctor could appear in 94 countries at once?! This outstanding achievement is testament to the fact that the longest running sci-fi TV show in history is not just a well-loved UK institution but a truly global success adored by millions of people."

Last night's simulcast was shown at over 1,500 cinemas worldwide in the U.K. and the U.S., as well in Canada, Latin America, Germany, Russia and Scandinavia. At its peak, the BBC One broadcast had over 10.61 million viewers.

Jack Gleeson would like to be a humanitarian.

Jack Gleeson, who plays nasty child-king Joffrey in Game Of Thrones says he is giving up acting when he is done with the show.

When the show finishes, or if his character is killed off before then, the 21-year-old says he is planning a career change. Following a trip to Haiti with aid agency Goal, he said that he would like to devote time to humanitarian works.

My dad is an astronomy professor, and we just had dinner with his astronomy advisor from Harvard. He asked what I was into and I told him about my ventures into hip-hop (I'm a rapper/producer). He asked if I knew about Kanye West, and obviously being a Ye stan I kept my cool and told him yes. He then told me that him and Donda West were good friends and co-teachers in China, and he got to spend a great deal of time playing with Kanye as a kid. Out of nowhere he whips out this picture and my jaw-drops. He said Kanye was a really sweet kid who wasn't afraid to speak to adults and ask questions.
