"Scandal" Star Bellamy Young Is An Amazing Singer
Who knew?
Before she became First Lady Mellie Grant, Bellamy Young got her start on the stage, and co-starred in the 1997 Tony-winning production of The Life.
Young played Mary, a small-town girl with big-city dreams who ends up working as a go-go dancer. And her show-stopping number, "Easy Money" (above), is really, really something you need to watch.
We know Scandal creator Shonda Rhimes didn't exactly have success with a musical episode on her other series, Grey's Anatomy, but it's hard not to wish for an all singing-and-dancing hour of Scandal after seeing Young's performance.
Plus, there's the equally gifted Katie Lowes (aka Quinn Perkins)!
And Kerry Washington!

12 Women (And One Man) Who've Inspired Change
To mark International Women’s Day we’ve compiled a list of 12 Women (And One Man) who’ve inspired change and helped to improve the lives of women either in their community or globally.
Grace Kodindo -- doctor
Grace Kodindo campaigns every day for women's healthcare to be acknowledged as a basic human right.
Dr Kodindo spent many years as the head of the maternity unit at the Central Hospital in N'Djamena, the capital city of Chad. Her daily battle to save the lives of pregnant women and their children was featured in a 2005 BBC film, Dead Mums Don’t Cry.
She continues to take the message to the world that women in poor countries are dying needlessly because they can't get reproductive healthcare.

Nafis Sadik -- U.N. leader
Dr Nafis Sadik led a 1994 U.N. conference that was a defining moment for women’s health and rights.

12 Forgotten '90s Board Games For Girls
Sure, you remember Mall Madness, the essential slumber party board game, but what about Ask Zandar?
Party Mania
The game that taught young '90s girls everywhere a very valuable life lesson: You must always be invited to the hottest parties.
Also, since it involved a VCR in order to play you and your friends were probably forced to play it in the living room, in total view of your parents (ugh, so embarrassing).
Slumber party fun rating: 6 out of 10.
Clarissa Explains It All: Game
OK, so this game was sorta of a major fail since it didn't really revolve around Clarissa Darling at all. The object of the game? Get a drivers license and the keys to a car.
You and your friends were better off just watching SNICK.
Slumber party fun rating: 4.5 out of 10, but only because it was a Clarissa-branded product.

Ask Zandar
Pretty simple game: Ask Zandar a vague question and get a vague response.
Slumber party fun rating: 8.5 out of 10, mainly because there was a good chance one of your friends might reveal something you didn't know about them while answering a question.

Full House Board Game
The ultimate TGIF sitcom got the board game treatment in the early ‘90s. Players took turns collecting each member of the Tanner family, first person to collect them all won.
Slumber party fun rating: 4 out of 10. TBH: A Boy Meets World game would’ve been better.

The 15 Films And TV Shows At SXSW I Can't Wait To See
With so many films and TV shows playing at the 2014 SXSW Film Festival, there is only so much one person can see — and these are the ones I’m most looking forward to!
Neighbors
Director: Nicholas Stoller
Screenwriters: Andrew J. Cohen, Brendan O'Brien
One of the best features of SXSW is that it welcomes tiny indie films alongside a selection of mainstream studio movies. Case in point, this comedy, starring Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne (with her native Australian accent!) as a young married couple whose party-hardy lifestyle has suddenly mellowed thanks to their newborn baby — only to have a frat house headed by Zac Efron move in next door. This won't arrive in theaters for another two months, so Universal is showing a lot of faith in the film by premiering it so early at SXSW.
Universal Pictures
Veronica Mars
Director: Rob Thomas
Screenwriters: Rob Thomas, Diane Ruggiero
I've never seen an episode of the beloved series that inspired this film, but I do love me a forthright female protagonist who fights crime. So I'm hoping that makes me an ideal candidate for how well this Kickstarted feature will play for those outside its devoted Marshmallows fan base — like, basically, everyone else on the BuzzFeed Entertainment team. I expect witty banter and red herrings!
Robert Voets
Silicon Valley
Director: Mike Judge
Screenwriters: Episode 1 written by Mike Judge & John Altschuler & Dave Krinsky; Episode 2 written by Carson Mell
Ever since Lena Dunham debuted the first three episodes of Girls at SXSW two years ago, the festival has slowly expanded its television premieres, this year launching a brand-new section to the festival called Episodic and devoted just to TV. There are many offerings — click here for all of them — but the one I'm most available and interested to see is Mike Judge's comedy about tech nerds striving to launch their own startup.
Isabella Vosmikova / HBO
Space Station 76
Director: Jack Plotnick
Screenwriters: Jack Plotnick, Jennifer Cox, Sam Pancake, Kali Rocha, Michael Stoyanov
This independent satire of 1970s sci-fi is the definition of “under the radar”: Veteran character Plotnick (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Wrong) was able to shoot the film with actors Patrick Wilson, Liv Tyler, Matt Bomer, Jerry O'Connell and 2001: A Space Odyssey's Keir Dullea with pretty much no one realizing it even existed before he'd wrapped — a remarkable feat in Hollywood these days. Also: There are robots! I will be first in line.
