Woman Gets A New Pet After Quail Egg Bought In Waitrose Hatches
No one likes overdone eggs but this is ridiculous.
Mandy Clayton wanted some quail eggs for a salad as she was having a BBQ, so she headed to her local Waitrose to stock up.
Of the dozen in the box, four were left over from her salad so she decided to put them in an incubator “to see what would happen”.

And lo and behold, one of them hatched.
The 49-year-old swimming teacher revealed the bird had been named Rose, after the supermarket where it was bought.
“My 11-year-old daughter enjoys playing with her. Rose is happy running around on the floor at times,” she added.
