Kim Kardashian Says 16-Month-Old North West "Loves Fashion"

Kim Kardashian has revealed that her 16-month-old daughter, North West, "loves fashion."
Speaking to the London Evening Standard, Kim said: "I was saying to my friends, 'I wonder what [North's] first job is going to be?' She loves fashion. Maybe she'll be a designer. Who knows? It's too early to tell."

TLC Has Canceled "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" Amid Sex Offender Scandal
The network ended the show after reports emerged that the mother of Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson is dating a convicted sex offender.

After four seasons, TLC has canceled Honey Boo Boo. The reality show was a spin-off of Toddlers & Tiaras and followed break-out beauty pageant star Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson and her family in their hometown of McIntyre, Georgia.
Thompson's mother, June Shannon, came under scrutiny on Oct. 23 when TMZ reported she was dating a man who was convicted and served time for aggravated child molestation of one of Shannon's relatives.
After that story broke, TLC released the following statement: "TLC is not currently in production on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. We are very concerned about this new information and are reassessing the future of the series."
Though Shannon denied the relationship, the network today released a statement, stating that the show had been permanently canceled. "TLC has cancelled the series Here Comes Honey Boo Boo and ended all activities around the series, effective immediately. Supporting the health and welfare of these remarkable children is our only priority. TLC is faithfully committed to the children's ongoing comfort and well-being."
Honey Boo Boo aired its fourth season finale in Aug. 2014, which brought in 1.81 million viewers. A fifth season had not previously been announced.

One day in fourth grade I wasn't feeling well before school, but my dad's rule was: "Unless you're bleeding or puking, you're going to school." We were playing volleyball in gym class, and my crush was right behind me. What I thought was just tummy rumbling turned out to be poop. I pooped my WHITE pants right in front of my crush, and he yelled out: "Ew, did you poop?" I ran to the bathroom to clean myself off and, of course, several girls walked in while I was standing there in my underwear. I made up a story about my mom spilling coffee on them and I just noticed. I was too embarrassed to walk into the nurse's office to call my dad to ask him to take me home because I crapped myself. So, I went back to class and sat in my poop pants the rest of the day. BEST. DAY. EVER.
The first crush I had was in the fourth grade. One afternoon we were lined up next to each other at recess. I was wearing my favorite tank top that day and wanted to show it off to get his attention. This meant I needed to take my sweater off. Well, in doing so, my shirt got stuck to my sweater, and my training bra was in the wash that day. I was known as "The Flasher" for the rest of the year and he never spoke to me again.

A Giant Comet Passed By Mars Closer Than The Moon Is To Earth
Are we out of the woods yet? Here’s why the once-in-a-lifetime event is a big deal.
This week a comet sailed past Mars closer than any known comet flyby of Earth or Mars.
It sailed by at a distance of approximately 87,000 miles, according to NASA, and won't be back for more than a million years.

Named Siding Spring, the comet is shown here in a composite that NASA released, taken using the Hubble Space Telescope.
Comets are sometimes called “dirty snowballs” because they are a collection of debris and ices. Since it's not the only comet named Siding Spring, it uses the official tag, C/2013 A1.
Scottish-Australian scientist Robert H. McNaught found the comet, which is named after the observatory where it was spotted. The Siding Spring Survey, the early-warning program that discovered it, was shuttered last year after it lost its funding, according to the Guardian.

The comet skirted by at about one-third of the distance between Earth and the moon.
Just to give you a sense of how much of a near-miss the near-miss was. Earth's closest encounter in recorded history, a comet named Lexell, was about six times the distance of the moon. It was discovered in 1770 but hasn’t been seen since.

The flyby spurred NASA to have its Mars orbiters duck behind the planet to save them from dust particles estimated to be traveling 125,000 mph (56 km/sec).
They are happy to report that the satellites are in good health.
Siding Spring's close encounter with the sun, which occurs six days after passing Mars, could still make it risky for Mars spacecraft. The closer it gets to the star, the more the comet's tail grows as the water vapor comes off of the nucleus — and potentially chucking high-velocity particles at the spacecraft.
