Via St. Petersburg, Russia, for the International Economic Forum.
The photos pretty much speak for themselves, but here's some details:
A special performance was arranged for the guests of the Forum. Girls, 9-10 years-old, had their faces painted silver and were stuck standing in boxes with very little room to move. They were depicting statues of "wind gods" and were instructed to blow the paper boats around the pool—which represented the nearby Neva River. It was hot, and the sun was blazing in their faces.
Not sure if this was a Capitalist or Communist installation.
The Forum was held June 21-23.
