Linsanity spreads to Anti-Defamation League.
As the cultural thrill around out-of-nowhere Knicks star Jeremy Lin burns unabated, Deadspin turned up Lin's goofy personal blog from his teens, which includes some of the ethnic chatter that's common to the basketball court.
In it, he posed with a "Jewish style" headband, a gentle joke at the expense of Utah Jazz forward Josh Howard, then with the Dallas Mavericks.
BuzzFeed asked the Anti-Defamation League whether the group, often quick to react to apparent Jewish slurs, whether it had any problem with the youthful joke.
"Not in the least," emailed Todd Gutnick, the ADL's director of media relations and public information.
