Kevin Clash, who in a 48-hour period was accused of having sex with a minor and then vindicated from that accusation, will not return to Sesame Street immediately. According to a source at Sesame Workshop, “Kevin has asked for some additional time to put this ordeal behind him, which we totally understand.”

Beyond being the puppeteer who made Elmo the star of the Sesame universe, not to mention the image on products as diverse as diapers and macaroni and cheese, Clash has a behind-the-scenes role on Sesame Street as a director and producer. He has won 21 Emmys.

I do not care what you say, sweet potatoes with marshmallows are the best thing that ever happened to this holiday.

Growing up I had ONE JOB during the two-day spectacle that was Cooking Thanksgiving. I watched the marshmallows.

My task started with right after the grocery store run — I guarded bags of jumbo jet-puffed 'mallows so that none of my cousins got into them. (Being a total lame-ass kid, I was pretty good at that part.)

When It Was Time, I got to arrange them on top of the sweet potato stuff.

Then my job was to watch them -- VERY CAREFULLY -- while they toasted in the oven.

Frederick W. Humphries II, 47, according to the New York Times .

This is Fred Humphries, an FBI agent and the newest player in the ongoing drama surrounding David Petraeus' affair with his biographer Paula Broadwell. Above, he's pictured in a 2000 Seattle Times story about his involvement in investigating the millennium attack.

Humphries handled Tampa socialite Jill Kelley's initial complaint that she was receiving harassing emails about her relationship with Petraeus, a family friend. The FBI would later discover those emails came from Broadwell, Petraeus' mistress.

Humphries has also been accused of sending shirtless photos to Kelley. But the agent's lawyer told the Times that the photo — a joke image of Humpries posing with dummies — was sent years before Kelley complained about the emails.

"It was sent as part of a larger context of what I would call social relations in which the families would exchange numerous photos of each other," said Lawrence Berger of the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association.
