This Farmer Convinced His Sheep To Form An Enormous Penis

It can be a lonely life on the land. Those long days spent alone in the paddock with only a few animals for company. And as they say, idle hands are the devil's plaything. Which is good, because look what this genius farmer did.

Via youtube.com

This work of art was produced by 45-year-old Hugh Beveridge on his farm at Armatee in central western NSW, Australia.

Beveridge told BuzzFeed News he decided to create the sheep schlong to give himself and his mates "a bit of a giggle".

"They know I’m quite childish," he said.

And how does one create such a large paddock penis? Beveridge says it's easy enough.

"I had the idea, I took the drone out with me, I thought I’d put a fair bit of feed out so they’d have a good munch," he said.

"The ewes we have are close to lambing and we like to keep them full of good tucker so they produce a good lamb. So you’re just trail feeding them, putting oats in a line. They’ll stand in whatever formation you put it out in."

Beveridge estimates the wooly phallus was about 150 metres (500ft) tall, and 100 metres (330ft) wide, and he put the whole thing together freehand - no drawings or maps to guide him.

Once the hard work of laying out the oats was done, Beveridge sent a drone into the air to catch the ram rod in all its glory. Just take a look at this cinematic reveal.

Via youtube.com

For the record, Hugh is quite proud of his handiwork.

"It came out very clearly I thought."

It sure did, Hugh. It sure did.

You can watch the whole masterpiece here. It's worth it for the soundtrack.

In Their Words: The Swedish Heroes Who Caught The Stanford Sexual Assailant

Nearly a year and a half ago Arndt and Jonsson were biking to a party on Stanford's campus when they saw Turner, 20, on top of his victim behind a dumpster. They managed to tackle Turner as he ran away and they called the police.

The two men were key witnesses in the case against Turner, who was eventually found guilty of three counts of sexual assault and was sentenced by Judge Aaron Persky to three months of a six-month sentence in county jail with probation. He said a longer sentence in prison would have a "severe impact" on the Stanford athlete.

Since the victim's letter was published on Friday — followed by other letters from Turner's father and friend defending him — people all over the world, including public figures and celebrities, have come out in support of the victim while expressing outrage over Turner's short sentence.

In the letter, she described the two students — whom she has still never met — as "heroes."

Arndt described the night of the assault to the Swedish news outlet Expressen on Tuesday, saying that they read the letter and were very moved. (Arndt did not immediately return BuzzFeed News' request for additional comment and Jonsson declined, saying he is not currently speaking to press.)

As Arndt and Jonsson approached the dumpsters where Turner was attacking his victim, they said they immediately knew something was wrong.

"We saw that she was not moving, while he was moving a lot," Arndt said in Swedish. "So we stopped and thought, 'This is very strange.'"

The two graduate students quickly decided to approach Turner to see what was going on. Jonsson approached him first, Arndt said, while he followed.

"When he got up we saw that she still wasn't moving at all, so we walked up and asked something like, 'What are you doing?'"

In the victim's letter, she describes pictures she saw of herself behind that dumpster:

"Unconscious, with my hair disheveled, long necklace wrapped around my neck, bra pulled out of my dress, dress pulled off over my shoulders and pulled up above my waist, ... butt naked all the way down to my boots, legs spread apart," she wrote. She had dirt pine needles in her hair and inside her vagina.

The friends exchanged a few short words with Turner before he suddenly turned to run away from them. Jonsson chased after Turner and managed to catch up with him and tackle him a few feet away.

Arndt leaned over to make sure the unconscious victim was still alive. "She lay perfectly still," he said.

The two men then restrained Turner and called the police. They held down the then-19-year-old swimmer until the police arrived. The men gave their reports to police and provided testimony in the trial, though they never came face-to-face
with Turner's victim.

In her letter, the victim said she was told one of the two men was crying because he was so upset by the state she was in. She also said she was forever grateful to Arndt and Jonsson for what they did.

"Thank you to the two men who saved me, who I have yet to meet," the victim wrote. "I sleep with two bicycles that I drew taped above my bed to remind myself there are heroes in this story. That we are looking out for one another. To have known all of these people, to have felt their protection and love, is something I will never forget."

Arndt was a teaching assistant at Stanford in math and engineering while getting his degree. He spent time at J.P. Morgan as research associate. Jonsson received his Master of Science degree in management science and engineering from Stanford in May. Previously he attended Uppsala University in Sweden for economics.

Jonsson posted the victim's letter on his Facebook page Tuesday, thanking friends and strangers for all the "encouragement and support" over the past few months. He said he would not publicly comment on the process or outcome of the trial, but asked everyone to read her letter.

"To me it is unique in its form," he wrote, "and comes as close as you can possibly get to putting words on an experience that words cannot describe."

Ok...so we can all assume that fight scene was an act....but I figured its worth some suggestive ideas. So....

  1. Before the scene she was seen flaunting Money to the Westeros Captain in order to get the word out there that a young girl was on her way to westeros in the morning.
  2. Then she chooses an open spot to try and avoid an easy death check after the fight. (Bridge)
  3. We can assume she knows enough from training to figure the waif will attack to the body. So I believe she has 1 or more pigs blood pouches around her body. She knows where and how to do this because last episode...she saved the actress. The actress then provided her help to make the scene on the bridge large and realistic.
  4. She then leaves the water and leaves a trail of blood....to lead her enemys to her. Expecting an unarmed (because she choose not to show needle during the fight scene) and injured girl; they will instead walk down a dark alley and be met with an uninjured girl who knows how to fight in the dark and carrying a sword.

This snap was taken by Australian photographer Tim Samuel in Byron Bay on the northern coast of NSW.

Samuel told BuzzFeed he's an avid underwater photographer, so when he spotted the little guy about 50 metres from shore, he knew he had to get some photos.

"The ocean has all sorts of weird and wonderful things, but I've never seen anything quite like this. I guess that's why this photo is getting so much attention - it seems to be quite the rarity."

Tim said he and another photographer, Franny Plumridge, followed the fish around for about 20 minutes, and the fish seemed to be the one propelling the jellyfish forward, although they were both a bit wobbly.

"We contemplated setting the little guy free, but ultimately just let nature run it's course," Tim said.

Associate Professor Ian Tibbetts, a fish biologist at the Centre for Marine Science at the University of Queensland, told Australian Geographic the duo seemed quite comfortable with their situation.

"It's difficult to tell whether disaster has just struck, or whether the fish is happy to be in there," he said.

Tibetts believes the fish is most likely a juvenile trevally, and the jellyfish is probably a type of box jellyfish, which can be among the most poisonous animals on earth.

"Although by the photographer's description of the fish swimming, my guess is that it is probably quite happy to be protected in there," Ian said.

According to Mothers Against Drunk Driving, 2 in 3 people will be involved in a drunk-driving crash in their lifetime. So we had some people attend a course on what it would feel like to drive drunk to give them some perspective on how dangerous it actually is.
