This Man Tearfully Recorded Himself After A Panic Attack To Spread Awareness
“I’m tired of people telling me to get over it. People with anxiety can’t just get over it.”
Casey Throwaway tearfully recorded himself coming down from a panic attack to show how much they actually suck, and to give anyone suffering from anxiety a message of hope.
Casey told BuzzFeed, "I decided to make the video because the last few times I had a panic attack, I wanted to find something I could relate to, but everything felt pretty 'tame' compared to how I felt."
Toward the tail end of his panic attack, Casey picked up the camera and started filming himself. He said, "I wanted to see if there were other people who felt like I did, and I took the risk of putting a video of me basically crying on the internet."
As nervous as he was to post it, people with and without anxiety began to praise Casey for his courage and thank him for his message.
He told BuzzFeed, "Thankfully thousands of people from all over seem to find it comforting to know they aren't alone, and I couldn't be happier about it or more driven to continue to try to end the stigmas around mental health issues."
He didn't even let his haters get him down. "Even all the negative messages I've gotten have pushed me to want to end stigmas. It's a win-win and I won't stop now," he said.
He's even created a Kickstarter campaign to fund a mental health video series to discuss anxiety and help those who suffer from it.

These Same-Sex Boudoir Photos Will Make You Want To Take It All Off With Someone You Love
“Nudity and sexuality are not something that needs to be hidden or ashamed of,” says photographer Ewan Phelan.
After spending ten years shooting couples boudoir photos, photographer Ewan Phelan has probably seen more couples in their most intimate moments than your average Joe. "Our sexuality makes up a huge part of who we are as a species and as an individual — so why do we need to be ashamed of it?" the artist, who works alongside his wife at Last Forty Percent photography, told BuzzFeed News. "We should embrace who we are completely, be proud of who we are, and stand up for who we are in all ways."
Phelan takes us through two of his favorite same-sex boudoir shoots, proving that no matter who you're with — it's the love between you that's truly sexy.

A Woman Who Pretended To Be Disabled Allegedly Killed Her Mom And Bragged About It On Facebook
A relative says a Missouri woman forced her daughter into a wheelchair for years, calling the situation that led to the murder “a ticking time bomb.”
A young Missouri woman who authorities said pretended to be disabled has been accused of conspiring with her boyfriend to stab her mother to death and posting about it on Facebook.

The murder charges were a surprising turn in what authorities with the Greene County Sheriff's Office in Missouri called an extremely baffling case.
"This is a tragic, tragic event surrounded by mystery and public deception," Greene County Sheriff Jim Arnott said in a press conference.

However, Arnott said Gypsy Rose Blancharde can walk well without assistance.
In addition, the pair had given many different ages for Gypsy Rose, claiming she was anywhere from 19 to 23 years old. They also had said they were victims of Hurricane Katrina.
Arnott insinuated that the mother and daughter may have defrauded others for money at some point, adding that authorities "really don't know the true background of this family."
"We have unearthed the appearance of a long financial fraud scheme along with this tragic event," Arnott said.

Hundreds of Australian women, some of them underage, have had their nude photos stolen and uploaded to a US website.

News Corp reports that hundreds of women have had compromising images uploaded to an unnamed, US-based website where they are available for download.
The user who uploaded the images reportedly said they had "100+ different pics of SA [South Australian] chicks" and "you cannot do anything to stop us," The Adelaide Advertiser reports.
But now Sunrise is under fire for appearing to blame the victims of the hack.
The Sunrise Facebook page yesterday asked "what's it going to take for women to get the message about taking and sending nude photos?"

Here’s How To Know If You’re Masturbating Too Much
Side effects may include orgasms, feeling awesome, and… what else?
Welcome to the BuzzFeed Sex Q&A where you can ask us your awkward, confusing, gross, embarrassing, or thought-provoking questions, and we'll provide answers from leading sexual health experts. Have a question about sex or sexual health? Send it to sexQs@buzzfeed.com.
This week's question:
Hi BuzzFeed!
I've been told there are a lot of health benefits to masturbation, but can you overdo it? Can you "flick the bean" too often?
Thanks!
—K
Hi K! Thanks for sending along your question. To help answer it, we spoke with sex therapist Dr. Madeleine Castellanos, author of Wanting To Want: What Kills Your Sex Life and How To Keep It Alive. Here's what she had to say:
Jenny Chang / BuzzFeed
In general, masturbation is totally normal and healthy and awesome.
Getting turned on, getting an erection, touching your genitals, having an orgasm — these are all good things. And if they happen on a daily basis, that might actually keep your sex organs running smoothly. "It helps bring blood flow to the tissues and keeps those nerves fresh and firing," says Castellanos. So for the most part, regular sexual activity (with or without a partner) is a good thing.
Whether you're masturbating a few times a week or a few times a day, as long as you aren't hurting yourself, your relationship, or your productivity, carry on!
But, sure, OK, you probably want to practice a little moderation.
"It's quite difficult to get to the point where you're masturbating too much," says Castellanos. "But if you have any physical damage, if you're rubbing yourself raw, using a great deal of pressure, irritating the skin or things like that, that's a clear indication that perhaps you're masturbating too much or too vigorously." So if there's any discomfort, chaffing, irritation, or pain, lay off your genitals and see if it subsides. You probably already know this, but hey, we're just covering all the bases.
