102-year-old Alice Barker was a chorus line dancer during the Harlem Renaissance of the 1930s and 40s. She thought all the footage of her dancing had been destroyed, but with the help of Jazz on Film, Barker was finally able to relive all that jazz!

Australians "Heartbroken" After Camp Gallipoli In Sydney Washed Out

UPDATE: An event offering the opportunity to “camp out under the stars like our brave ANZACs” postponed due to sodden ground has been moved to a new location.

Camp Gallipoli is billed as "a once in a lifetime opportunity" to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Gallipoli landing by "sleeping out under the stars as the original Anzacs did 100 years ago."

Activities at the Sydney event include a concert starring Jon Stevens and Mahalia Barnes, a screening of Russell Crowe's Gallipoli film The Water Diviner and a Dawn Service.

Attendees seeking the authentic ANZAC experience could also buy drinks at a bar, and dine on braised chicken and vegetarian eggplant moussaka. Limited edition swags for camping were also available for purchase.
